What is Radiesse? Radiesse is a dermal filler that is commonly used to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, plump the face, and can be used to enhance and modify other parts of the body such as the buttocks, neck and hands. The purpose of injecting Radiesse filler is to contour, improve, lift, and shape the skin texure where it is applied. 

How does it work? When injected, the filler binds to support structures within the dermal layers and starts the production of FRESH, NEW collagen. Collagen is essential, it maintains your skin's youthful appearance and helps provide volume. By injecting Radiesse, it results in more volume to the area, new collagenand elastin growth, helps increase vascular supply, AND can also be used to improve the appearance of stretch marks, cellulite, and surface irregularities!

How long does the procedure take and what is the recovery? This procedure generally takes Dr. Patel about 30 minutes to do and does require about 3 treatments for OPTIMAL results. After the procedure you may experience some minor bruising and soreness but it does subside within a week. The effects of this treatment last up to two years, and elastin and collagen will continue to be produced up to 6 months after the procedure!!
